The world premiere recording of the award-winning Requiem by Australian composer Paul Stanhope, featuring the vibrant voices of Sydney Chamber Choir, soloists Chloe Lankshear and Richard Butler, and a top-flight wind ensemble plus harp and percussion, under the baton of Sam Allchurch. Like Britten before him, Stanhope interweaves the traditional texts with contemporary poetry, but in this instance, by four female poets.
