Product details
This work is the first in an intended group of piano sonatas exploring various genres. In this case the style involves an investigation of Mozart's classicism and draws on elements from his piano sonata in F K.332. While clearly neoclassic in intention, the work also refers to other modernist composers (such as Stravinsky, Prokofiev and Ravel) in an ironic commentary that seeks to examine this type of music more than a hundred years after its inception.
