'Prayer for the sun before travelling': the winner of the competition was produced by German radio in Cologne. Texts from the Aztec Invocations, Snake Poems have been set to music by the composers for a small number of instruments and electronic sounds, together with field recordings.
'Hong Kong': In 1997 the British colony of Hong Kong reverted to Chinese sovereignty. In this program the political and public ritual is transformed into music and sound. Produced by Russell Stapleton. Singer: Michele Morgan.
