This is a modern take on the prelude and fugue. The prelude is an intricate working of syncopated rhythms that portrays a strong jazzy dance feel and the fugue takes a Joplinesque theme and gives it a dose of fun and entertaining counterpoint. A perfect work to begin or finish a recital.
