Influences range from rap and blues to ballads, fugues and choral writing, creating a diverse and vivid soundscape. Conceived as a complete cycle, the set moves through a continuous journey, though individual preludes can also stand effectively on their own. Preludes showcases music's capacity where pitch becomes colour and harmony transforms into different shades.
