Set of 12 CDs.
Funded by Music Board, Australia Council in May 2006. This is a series of 264 microtonal etudes for harp-samples, each of which is 3 minutes long, and each of which is produced with an algorithmic composition program. The etudes are collected into 24 pieces, each of which lasts 33 minutes. Software is ArtWonk by Algorithmic Arts. Programming is by the composer. The harp samples are played using VSampler software. Tunings were developed using Scala software. Performed and recorded by the composer in October and November 2006. The piece is scheduled for its premiere as part of an installation at the De Havilland Gallery in Wollongong, in August 2007 -- Composer's note.
