Available for immediate download
Rickety Bridge has three contrasting sections. The title
reflects the fact that, in the Full version, these sections are
arranged in Arch form - A B C B A.
Section C is the most lyrical and so delivers the greatest contrast.
The Abridged version consists of Sections A and B only arranged in Ternary form - A B A. It can also be used by more advanced pianists for sight-reading practice.

Apart from three contrasting themes, Rickety Bridge, also uses staccato and legato articulations to enhance the contrast. Section A is the most "bent" of the three themes with its use of a ilttle chromaticism. Rickety Bridge is in the key of C minor. The lyrical Section C moves into the relative key of Eb major.
