Sheet Music: Score & Part(s)RUNNERS : for violin and cello / Andrée Greenwellby Andrée Greenwell (1995)
|
Product details
RUNNERS was composed as part of the score to Side Track Theatre's production of 'Fright' directed by Nigel Kellaway, presented by at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, 1995, (as is 'City 3'). I also included this piece of music in my performance work 'Laquiem: Tales from the Mourning of the Lac Women'. I am providing the piece here as a stand-alone movement.
The music should be played fast, with the feeling of a roller coaster, but with fairly continuous momentum. The pauses should be used as a reference to catch up and prepare for the next phrase.
The piece can be played acoustically, or alternatively, amplified with delay, riding the delay in and out.
