ABC Radio commissioned Jacqui Rutten to create the radio feature 'Sacra' in 2006. The piece explores sacred and ornamental vocal music, and features music from the 'Liber Usualis', and field recordings from Central Java. There are also excerpts of an interview with Shane Charles Yorta-Yorta -- Composer's note.
