Summary: The Blisters Ensemble is an Australian group that has pioneered the use of interactive, do-it-yourself electronics in live performance. They are Jon Rose, Rainer Linz, Tom Fryer, Joanne Cannon and Stuart Favilla. The program is based on discoveries made during a weekend residence spent exploring the archives of the Grainger Museum in Melbourne. It includes an original composition by Ella Grainger, sung by Ella and Percy, and broadcast here for the first time. Composed, directed and produced by Jon Rose. With the voice of Percy Grainger. Readings by Robert Menzies.
