Product details
"Tous devient suspens" (Stephane Mallarmé Crise de Vers,
1895)
Song Without Words seeks to evoke the lyric spirit, a
sense of timelessness, weightlessness, suspended animation and
bittersweet nostalgia. Although it is written for a melodic
instrument with piano accompaniment this piece has some formal
and stylistic characteristics in common with the solo piano works
Lied Ohne Worte written by Felix Mendelssohn between 1829 and
1845. It is short and features a melody with a gentle, unassuming
piano accompaniment that becomes more expansive towards the end
of the piece.
