'String things' is a series of educational string ensemble pieces for beginners, in which the use of pitch is developmental, starting from pizzicato open strings, with new notes and techniques introduced gradually. Humorous words are being used to encourage rhythmic accuracy and intensive listening.
Includes foreword for teachers.
Individual works available separately.
There are two versions of performance parts for each work: a full score with the individual part magnified, and a separate part with only one instrumental line. Each work (except 'Bass chase' and 'Can-do canon') also includes an optional vocal part for singers.
