A tale of the haunted medieval bridge in Arta, north west Greece. It is said to have the body of the master builder's wife buried in it's foundations...."as the builder crosses at dusk he still hears her cries and weeps...".

This composition form is based on the Greek 'rembetika' style song and Byzantine chant. The chorus is in 9/4 [traditionally 9/8] the "Zembekiko" dance rhythm. This is a proud emotional and expressive dance was traditionally danced solo.
