Sheet Music: Performance PartsThe Bridge : for percussion octet / Caerwen Martin.by Caerwen Martin (2022)

Product details
The Bridge was written for my dear friend, conductor and percussionist Timothy Phillips and his ace students at the Presbyterian Ladies College, Melbourne. This piece is an interpretative transcription of a fire dam on a bush block in rural Victoria. Frogs, birds, and little critters can be heard over a 24 hour cycle, similar to what I heard when I was on the property writing this piece. The melodic content is a reflection on the hope I feel for the future. I hope the students of PLC can feel the same optimism as they look to their lives ahead.
