Product details
The Crossing of a Sea honours the life of arts patron and champion of ethical journalism Steven Alward. Moved by the ebb and flow of the waves of Sydney Harbour, where Alward's ashes had been scattered, and inspired by the writings of Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore, composer Cyrus Meurant has created a poignant musical tribute that explores themes of love, loss and transformation.
Duration: 21 min.
I. The light that glows on the sea waves – ‘Love’ -- II. Amduat – 'Loss' -- III. Our different worlds – 'Transformation'.
