Summary: An audio portrait of Raymond Carver, American short story writer and poet. Austrian radio producer Alfred Koch travelled to America to the places where Caver lived, worked and is now buried. He interviewed both Carver's first and second wives, and integrated archival recordings and readings of Carver's work. This is a special English language version of this feature which was originally made in German and English, and was winner of the Prix Italia for Radio Documentary in 2002. Performers: Florian Messner, Tyler Coppin and Tony Macgregor. Directed by Lea Redfern.
