This work is a 7-movement choir setting of a section from a short story, 'The Ghost of Siglufjördur' by Emmell Sørensen. Each movement creates a different dramatic scene reflecting on Icelandic traditional myths and ghost legends. The narrator tells part of the story, the choir speaks, whispers and sings other parts of the story. Movement 6 is sung in Icelandic. The composer worked with Emmell in Skagaströnd Iceland in August 2024 to collaborate in the creation of a music work using the text of 'The Ghost of Siglufjördur'.
