'The long suffering of Anna Magdalena Bach': A broadcast to complement the Bach 2000 program at the Melbourne Festival. A radiophonic work which takes us into the eyes, ears, nose and thoughts of Bach's second wife, the talented singer Anna Magdalena Bach. Spoken voice of Anna Magdalena: Lucy Bell. Sung voice of Anna Magdalena: Fatima Miranda. Music and performance by Jon Rose. Produced by Sherre DeLys.
Originally broadcast on The Listening Room, ABC Classic FM, 23 October 2000.
Non-commercial recording. For study purposes only.
'L'arte del Paesaggio': Italian composer Stefano Giannotti composed this piece as artist in residence in Wiepersdorf, Brandenburg. It is a sort of concerto for harpsichord and orchestra, only with the sounds of the environment and a child singing, the structure reminiscent of J.S. Bach's Die Kunst der Fuge.
