Product details
The Machine was originally written (2002) for piano & vocals and scored (in 2007) for piano & string quartet… to emulate the city (Melbourne), as a machine…There's too many robots that can't resist the pull of the machine…There's billowing smoke…The 9 to 5, the conservative smile… (And then the countryside, the den, the niche….). So he retires to his den~ I'm kinda glad he's freed himself, of the machine, and all the things that make the world a darker place to be. The big smoke has driven him home… to his niche. Temptation has gone, my mind's at ease…
