'The mysterious baths': is a collaboration between poet Chris Hemensley and composer Warren Burt, and is a sound and text impression around the Italian surrealist painter Giorgio de Chirico based on responses to his paintings, especially the series 'The mysterious baths'. Music by Shostakovich and Prokfiev, arranged for synthesizers and performed by Raymond Burt. Performers: Rhys McConnochie, Hugo Weaving, Ron Falk, John Howard, Geoff Morrel and Brian Rooney.
Broadcast on "The Listening Room" on ABC Classic FM, 11 May 1998.
