Renowned Australian saxophonist Sandy Evans releases her new trio album, The Running Tide. Featuring the exceptional talents of bassist Brett Hirst and drummer Toby Hall, who have collaborated with Evans for over 21 years, this album showcases 14 original dynamic and innovative compositions.

Each composition is a canvas for improvised interaction: some tell a story, others are humorous or ironic, or pay tribute to musical influences or a historic tragedy, and others are meditative, feel based, or entirely free. Available via bandcamp.
