Sheet Music: ScoreTime limits : for winds, percussion, piano and tape / Haydn Reeder.by Haydn Reeder (1974)
|
Product details
My aim was to write a piece in which the durations are organized in a continuum, basically slow to fast, which could be felt to continue throughout the work. All elements therefore assume a character supporting this progression.
The time limits are those imposed on the players in which to react to the conductor, whose task also involves reacting to the sounds on the tape. There is also a restricted amount of time allowed to play some passages. Another aspect is that limited time is given to the audince to perceive the nature and location of the sounds.
