Waltz of the Girl in Tie-dye : for mixed octet / Ronan Apcar.
Library shelf no. 785.4418/APC 1 [Available for loan]
Work Overview
Waltz of the Girl in Tie-dye is a short and eclectic piece for a mixed octet. Written in response to the 'Wallflower Waltz' from Robert Russell Bennett's 'Suite of Old American Dances,' I tried to imagine someone who was the antithesis of a wallflower and what they would be like; free-spirited, extroverted, perhaps bohemian.
