Library shelf no. 783.3542/BLO 2 [Not for loan]
Work Overview
Southern Songs celebrates, through music, the poems of four twentieth century women poets from two southern countries, Australia and New Zealand. The musical settings seek to bring out the story-telling in the poetry and each poem explores a different theme. The group of songs is a set rather than a cycle and the songs can be sung in any order.
