Work Overview
Te Deum Laudamus is a song of praise and thanksgiving to
God.
This work forms the middle movement of the triptych commissioned
by St Mary's College on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of
the school. The Te Deum text holds special significance as it was
the prayer sung by the seven founding sisters upon their arrival
in Adelaide in December, 1868.
