These songs were all written for Ascham School at various times and for certain occasions.
Nos 1, 2 & 4 were originally written for early primary school and the others for years 3 to 6. Nos. 1 and 2 also have some speaking parts and no. 3 needs an imitation of a Kookaburra!
'Keep the Beat' (No 5), also has parts for primary school string ensemble and/or band. This can be mixed and matched – strings 1st, then choir, then all together. The piano should always be used. (Parts for this song are available separately).
Text for 'The Kookaburra' by Frank Halliwell; 'Mermaid' by Walter de la Mare ; for 'Jibber Jabber' by Spike Milligan. Others by the composer.
Composed over a five year period from 2009 to 2014
