A Cheetah In Paris : A Circus Opera

Work Overview

The Froglein Sisters are swinging on trapezes that hang from the beams at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

They are performing their nightly cabaret show to a spars audience of pigeons, rats and mice.

Tonight's performance tells the incredible tale of 'Flash, The Cheetah Baker' and how he went from being a superhero cheetah that ruled the Serengeti Plain, to being a world famous croissant baker atop the Eiffel Tower.

The staging of this Circus Opera requires the opera singers & violinist to be trained in aerial acrobatics.

As this is an entriely new genre, producers wishing to stage this piece are encouraged to get in touch with the composer.

HomePlay is an online theatre programme created by Chloe Charody that sees disability-led children collaborate to write a story that Charody then turns into a Circus Opera.
