Work Overview
How Far to Pelican Island? was composed for the Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra and premiered at their 2024 Kids Proms. It draws on the classic children's tune Heads and Shoulders, Knees and Toes, and is designed to introduce children to a variety of orchestral sounds within an accessibly modern soundworld.
