'Prayer of Jesus' is a short repeated chant for congregation and piano with optional guitar. There is also available a full instrumental arrangement with an added vocal harmony part.
The short text reflects the theological mystery that the prayer of Jesus dwells silently in the depths of the human heart.
Instrumentation: Voice (or congregation), piano.
Duration: 3 min.
Difficulty: Medium — Easy congregational melody. Competent accompanist.
Commission note: Composed as a congregational chant for the opening of the 2019 National Conference in Melbourne of the 'World Community for Christian Meditation (Australia)'.
