Work Overview
Cabaletta was written to allow primary school instrumentalists the opportunity to work together. With six guitarists on each of the guitar parts, and a smaller string orchestra, a balance between strings and guitars can be achieved.
Likewise, percussionists require the ability to be sensitive to the balance between voices.
The tempo is Andante, but there are no fast passages. Performers are encouraged to follow the dynamic markings on the score
