Work Overview

Circe, the infamous 'witch' of Greek mythology, was known for turning men into animals. In this work, mystical and almost violent musical gestures create musical magic, alongside birdlike ballads, named for Melierax. Melierax was Circe's brother and a sorcerer-king in his own right, of Colchis, a destination of Jason and the Argonauts.
