Work Overview
This piece is about the physical experience of anxiety. The feeling in the body is one of weightlessness, of being unglued from the earth, of floating and becoming unstuck from reality. There is a feeling of euphoric fear associated with these sensations, like taking a strong medication with untested side effects. Also, within this piece is the idea of the mental apacity to return to a state of calm. I hope this offers some hope to those who struggle with this condition.
