Work

Amoroso and Parody : for unaccompanied trombone

by Barry McKimm (2005)

Work Overview

Amoroso is a love song demonstating the lyric character of the trombone. A sound that is totally captivating.
Parody is an ironic reference to the exiting and technical demands of baroque music, often taken very seriously, overlooking the music of our own time.
