Work Overview
This work is in two parts; each part has three movements. This work can be played in its entirety as a six movement string trio; alternatively, either part can be played as a separate and independent trio.
The first part of this work, composed in 1975, and first performed in 1978, drew the 10th Dorian Le Gallienne Award (1979). The second part was completed in 1979 in fulfilment of the conditions of the award.
