Work Overview
Mobile and sculpture is music that hangs in the air, suspended in time and space. Gentle sounds of microtonal ceramic xylophones counterbalance the instrumental colours of the ensemble, extended by the sound of a fragile porcelain mobile drifting in timid chaos around the fixed composition. Combining a written score, set in stone like a sculpture, with the random sonic interjections of floating porcelain pieces, the music is a timeless dance of notes, durations and atmospheres.
