Work Overview
Water Dance was commissioned by the Australian Embassy, Denmark, for the opening of the Aarhus Sculptures by the Sea exhibition in 2013. The piece is designed in an ABA format - the outer sections joyous and dance-like and the middle section a reflection of landscape and a calling of Australian nature to foreign shores. It is both a celebration of art and of Indigenous culture.
