Work Overview
Symmetries is the result of a collaboration with Professor Artem Pulemotov (School of Mathematics and Physics, UQ) and Associate Professor Denis Collins (School of Music, UQ). The piece explores how the symmetries found in modern mathematics and physics, especially those in particle theory, can be represented through sound. The piece was commissioned for Topology by the University of Queensland, with the support of the Queensland Government Engaging Science Grants.
