This piece is inspired by Ornette Coleman's groups, his band Prime Time in particular. Bernie McGann's influence is also apparent in this composition.

No drum part has been provided. Instead, the concert pitch melody part offers the drums a better guide to what the other instruments are playing and (most importantly) the structure of the composition.
