Work Overview

James Dempsey played second trumpet in the Adelaide Brass Quintet, and the work perhaps reflects the good humour in which the the group rehearsed! As the movements are mostly descriptive, some introduction(s) should be made in performance. The ABQ successfully performed the work with a set of large drawings on an easel.
