This work explores a soundscape of Australian orchestral colours and textures that are then overshadowed by modernity. It questions whether we are losing cultural values recognised by Australian poet George Essex Evans in 1906.
Instrumentation: 2 sopranos, tenor, baritone, flute, alto flute, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, baritone saxophone, horn in F, flugelhorn, 2 tenor trombones, tuba, electric guitar, 5-string electric bass guitar, vibraphone, piano.
