Written to exploit the full capacity of my new studio at that time with an Atari computer running Cubase and Notator, Roland LA50 and Yamaha TX802 synthesizers and Casio FZ1 sampler. It includes a large number of examples of Roslyn Dunlop playing small samples - key clicks, multiphonics and the like, which are layered and massed together in the final work as a sort of super clarinet.
Instrumentation: Clarinet or bass clarinet, computer tape. May be performed on clarinet or bass clarinet.
Duration: 16 min.
Dedication note: Dedicated to Ros Dunlop
Commission note: Commissioned by Ros Dunlop.
