Work Overview
This piece is one of 32 short works written for the documentary
Bomb Harvest. Bomb Harvest is a documentary about the
deadly legacy the Vietnam war has left on neighbouring country
Laos. The documentary follows a group of kids who hunt down the
unexploded ordineance left from this war for scrap metal, to sell
at the market. Laith Stevens, a bomb disposal expert attempts to
get to these bombs before the children do and safely dipose of
them. The music is simple and light, with some gravitas.
