Work Overview

"The ancient Greek lyre is one of the most revered instruments of the western world being associated with Apollo and Delphi. Before leaving Greece I took it up to Delphi for a blessing and to play in the new amphitheatre there. Back in Australia the world of the most ancient songbirds, the imitative lyrebird, the lyres explore a different kind of "ancient" acoustic habitat. Thanks to Andrew Skeoch for his generous Lyrebird recordings" -- Ros Bandt.
