Library shelf no. 784.2/BON 4 [Available for loan]
Work Overview
Fortitude Street draws upon the energy and rhythm of rock and hip-hop. The piece makes particular feature of hip-hop rhythmic groove structures and the insistent rhythmic pulse of parallel fifths resembling the emphatic chugging of power chords. The piece is an exuberant and fanfare-like from start to finish, and conveys this energy to performers and audience alike.
