This is from the song cycle 'This Too Shall Pass', originally composed for Soprano and Piano back in 2009.
The arrangement for strings of my song My Prime of Youth was made upon the request of the Elder Music Lab for performance at COMA (Creative Original Music Adelaide) in November, 2020.
The text is 'Elegy' by Chidiock Tichborne (1558-1586).
For the same concert, I also arranged my song 'Speak Ye Stones', also a part of the song cycle 'This Too Shall Pass'.
