Work Overview
'Fade Not' is one of the lead songs sung by the character Asuka in the work Morning Blossoms. Asuka sings 'Fade Not' to her beloved daughter Sakura as they are walking home from school one afternoon. The tragedy that strikes the following day is foreshadowed in the song.

The composer notes:
When Morning Blossoms toured the Netherlands in 2016, Asuka was performed by Dutch musical theatre star, Celine Purcell. There are therefore two versions of this score available: one for soprano & orchestra and the other for musical theatre singer & orchestra (piano reductions of both scores are available).
