Work Overview
When this song first appears in the story of Morning Blossoms, Asuka, mother of Sakura is exhausted. She has searched through the summer and winter months to find her young daughter's body after she and her school friends were taken by a dreadful tsunami. Asuka's fingers are bleeding from digging with her bare hands, her heart is broken, but she will not give up the search for her child's body, even when the authorities and everybody else have given up.
When this song appears for the second time (this version) Asuka has found her daughter's remains and her grief is inconceivable. However, Asuka's resilience and strength inspires the other parents (whom too have lost their children) to face the challenge of recovery. No matter the scale of any tragedy, the next day, the morning will always blossom.
