Work

Swerve : for SSATTB vocal ensemble and string quintet

by Meta Cohen (2021)

Work Overview

Swerve is a new work for voices and strings inspired by conversations with long term Goulburn Valley Pride Shepparton volunteer Jenni George. The piece takes inspiration from Jenni's life as a driver of all manner of vehicles, and the conversations and revelations we have on the road. It forms part of the RESPECT project, writing our queer histories down, and singing them out loud!
