Work Overview

'Deep' is in five movements; it starts with a prelude and ends with a lively finale. The heart of the work is the third movement 'Nocturne' which evokes many aspects of the night. The second and fourth movements are very short indeed. 'Deep' is a melodic work, which explores the great expressive capabilities of the tuba.
