A long, lyrical ambient work. Melodic a lot of the time, with the occasional outburst of virtuosic passage work.

Difficulty: Advanced — Arpeggio and passage work, ability to 'sing' independent lines, and some complex rhythms.

Commission note: Commissioned by Powerhouse Museum, Sydney (Part of partnership project between Powerhouse Museum and Elektra String Quartet) This work has undergone extensive revision and development since its first performance/recording in 2001
